I worked with someone about a year ago and they got, I think it was 269 comments on their document from a committee member. And they sent it to me and I looked and I said, "Well, this doesn't seem to fit your template for your university, but let's look more." And we kept looking and a large majority of the comments had nothing to do with the template. So then I did a little research and I found out that this person was working at a couple of universities. And it turns out that they used the template for the other university to evaluate the student at this first university. So once we realized that, we were able to send the material to the chair, and the chair was able to say to the committee member, "You know, that's interesting, but we're going to use our template here." And over 200 of those comments just went away. I'd love to help you finish your dissertation so that you can go out and change the world.
