Once I found a gap, now I got to be able to explain it, put it in words that people can understand. Things like, this research has been done, Smith has said this, Jones has said this, they've used these results or these tests. However, this has not been done, and now either using a different test, a different sample, a different location in the world, or it's been done on police officers but not on firefighters. So we expand the knowledge base again by little teeny pieces that we're going to add the pile. If you can also have a reason why— and doing this is going to be important because it may help, it may do this, it may do that— meaning it's not just a gap for a gap's sake. There is a reason to look at this gap that I found. If you're struggling with finding a gap or just having difficulties in fine-tuning it, join our free dissertation help community.
