I once served on a committee as a second committee member, where somebody presented their proposal, and the committee said, even, you know, before the oral, that this isn't going to work. It's not valid. You can't collect the data. You want to answer these questions. The person went away, and I wasn't their chair, so I didn't have any contact with them. Five months later, they turned in a completed dissertation on a document that had never been approved. And we looked at it, and they hadn't listened on any of the comments we'd put in. We had to tell that person, you're going to have to go back and do this study over again. And I never heard what happened to that person. But please, don't put yourself in that situation. Drop the word help in the comments, and I'll send you a link to my free dissertation help community.
