A writer working on three manuscripts worried about repeating themselves across chapters. Their mentor Walden explained that re-explaining material helps readers understand it, and that repetition is actually alignment. The mentor's guidance on this concept and emotional support made a real difference.
Chapters
I did a 3xm, which three manuscripts, and I had a lot of questions about repeating myself and redundancy and things of that nature, because it felt like that's what I was doing. And I had that in him saying, that's what you're supposed to do. You know, you are basically explaining this. Somebody's not going to remember what you had in chapter one when you go to chapter what have you, you know, so you have to explain that to your audience. That was extremely helpful. And that alignment piece that Walden's always talking about, he really helped me with the alignment. I think it's just like feeling like I had a friend that was helping me, that knew more than I knew. And the encouragement that I received was outstanding, and it was something that I needed.
