Ultimately, if you have a good outline, it becomes your writing map, so to speak. It becomes, oh, I'm working on this now. I'm not working on writing a 120 page document. I'm working on filling in this section. The other thing that an outline can do for you. I might be the only one, but some days I don't want to write on a certain topic. But if I have an outline, I can say, oh, I can go work on this section today and then I'll come back to this one and I'll work on another and I'll come back. So this allows me the freedom to move forward, but within the structure of knowing that I'm working on finishing my dissertation. If you want help with your dissertation outline, join our Free Dissertation Help Community. You'll get our five Step Dissertation Acceptance Framework, real support from veteran dissertation committee members, access to our free community, and a free one on one call to help you finish faster. I'll see you inside.
