A speaker tells students and researchers that doubt from professors doesn't measure your intelligence. Getting admitted to your program already proved you belong. Find support, push through, and finish your work.
I'm so stupid. It's unfortunate that many people feel this way. It's even more unfortunate that there are people, professors, that help you feel this way. That's the way they got through their programs. That doesn't mean you have to accept what they're saying to you. If they imply that you are less than intelligent. Just remember, they let you in the program. They thought you could do this, and you can. So muster up all your strength and all your support and go do it. And finish.
