I constantly ask people what they're wearing. Friends, coworkers, strangers. A big chunk of my job is getting in touch with and collaborating with people that really inspire me. We work with emerging fashion designers, and we commission them to do limited edition pieces. A lot of times I'll go into boutiques. I will just sort of pick up pieces. When I find a designer I like, I use the Note app and send it to my email. When I get back to my desk, I have a list of designers whose work I like, and I can immediately find out if they want to work with us. My life as the founder of my own business is very busy. When I am constantly mentally churning through all the things that I need to do, then I'm not productive at all. So having the ability to jot down my thoughts in my phone allows me to focus on what I actually need to do.
