I've always been drawn to typography since I started studying graphic design in college. My full-time job is as a chalk letterer. That means I draw letters in chalk all day. The best thing is just me in front of a blank slate and then just going for it. I love kind of making those first marks, so I feel like that adrenaline kind of keeps me going. I wanted there to be a place online for people to go to see my work. Squarespace is made for people like me, just visual people who have a good sense of design, who appreciate simplicity, but who want the work to speak for itself and don't want to spend hours and hours frustrated. A lot of my clients will say, oh, we found you because we searched chalk art or chalk artist. My Squarespace site is the first to come up and I've gotten a lot of business from it.
