Saul Nash, Chet Lo, and Campbell Addy talk about building their careers online. Nash needed a site to show his vision of self-liberation. Lo picked up photography at 17 in London and used it to shape his story. Addy found a way to blend two worlds visually after moving there.
My sole purpose is to promote self-liberation, and I always struggled to articulate what I was trying to say.
My eyes for photography really started when I came to London at 17. I used my camera as a way to say hello to people.
Ever since I was young, there was this culture clash.
But then it clicked. Having the website makes it easy for people to see the vision behind my brand.
When I came to London, I finally figured out a way to to visually mesh the two worlds.
Community saved all of us from total oblivion. A platform like Squarespace makes it easy for me to have a website which communicates my work.
It was a great way to build my career by myself. I was able to tell my stories exactly how I wanted to.
Setting up the Squarespace website really changed my life. We built the online store and we just keep growing, growing, growing. I love it.
