This is a YouTube video titled "We made @cindyguitars a new website that hits all the right notes 🎸🤘" (uploaded 2026-08-04). The excerpt is a multi-speaker website design review involving at least three participants (labeled SPEAKER A/B/C): designers presenting three visual directions (New York/punk, craftsmanship/showcase, and a softer/feminine punk collage approach) and the guitar maker (Cindy) giving feedback about her brand, craft, and desire to better tell her story. The exchange is informal, includes candid reactions (including profanity and a reference to Squarespace), and ends with a casual sign-off mentioning “Sue.”

I don't know which one to pick.
I need a minute. You guys are fucked up, Squarespace people. It's renewal.
Cindy Guitars is a custom guitar company in Greenwich Village. And my bangs split. I make guitars out of old New York City building wood from the 1800s, from places like John Lennon and Yoko Ono's first house. Everything's done by hand, and in 14 years, I've never made anything the same. Don't let my bangs be split. Some people know a little too much of what they want, and I don't like being so constrained as an artist. When people see a Cindy guitar, they know it's a Cindy guitar. My current website—I mean, it's classic, but I'm not classic. I want it to be my vibe, more organization. I really want my story to be told properly. Time to read website.
I'm excited to show you these websites. This is the first direction. It's New York and punk. We have a condensed sans font paired with this really angular serif. Feels very loud and bold and fun. This video— Oh, wow. Gives a little insight into your process. It feels very personal and kind of intimate.
What am I supposed to be critical about?
So the second direction is all about craftsmanship and the culture and aesthetics around guitar making. Here we have the portfolio section. We're calling it a showcase, just getting a sense of the breadth of your work.
I don't like order now. It reminds me of like ordering from a restaurant or something.
Direction 3 is the softer, more feminine side of punk, utilizing collage and a lot of your photography. We really wanted to tell the story of like how you see the shop, how you see the guitars.
I'm not crazy about how these pictures are flying around the page. So— So let me pick. It's gonna be tough. I don't know which one to pick. I need a minute.
You guys are fucked up, Squarespace people.
Let's do one. Yeah, the first one's great. It's not just artsy, it looks really professional. It's a big step up from what I have, and I really dig that.
Come visit me at the shop and visit my website at www.cindyguitars.com. All right, Sue. See you guys later. Get out.
