We made Dobbin St. Co-Op a website that fits like a glove š§¤

Sue Warnke presents three website designs for Dobbin St. Co-Op, a Greenpoint vintage shop that opened in 2016. The owners wanted the site to feel vibrant and fun while making contact info easy to find. They chose the elevated, editorial design direction.

This looks like a casket to me. I don't like that.
It's Renewal. We're a new website. They call it Renewal.
We opened the store in 2016. Cassidy and I met hustling our own wares, spending too much money being flea market dealers.
Then we just came together and made a really fun shop.
We're one of the longest-lasting vintage stores in Greenpoint now. We source our pieces multiple ways. If we see anything and think there's a customer for it, we will buy it and bring it in.
I've seen really creepy-looking things before.
Somebody painted a chair to look like their adorable cat. I don't know why no one wants it. The Dobbins Street Co-op is chaotic, energetic, and vibrant.
And I would say minimal, maximal, and colorful.
Our current website is so embarrassing. It's not been updated since we opened 10 years ago.
I don't know who made our website. I don't know who runs it now, and I don't love it.
3 things we're looking for in a website. One, that it mirrors the vibrancy of the shop. 2, that all of our contact information is easily accessible. And 3, that it's fun, like us.
So that customers can look at the site and then come by here and have a good time.
I think they'll choose the right one, but I'm also opinionated, so we'll see.
Time to redo websites.
I'm gonna show you 3 website directions today. So this is the first direction. We really wanted to bring this warming environment of the store to the online experience. We use your handwriting here.
I like the animation.
This looks like a casket to me. I don't like that, but the scrolling text is so fun.
So now we go to the second direction. This one is really playful with this rich color palette, and then we have the contact page mimicking like a postcard, I love the blue background.
The photos pop a little bit more.
It is minimal, but it does make a big impact.
Now we go to the third direction, more elevated, editorial. With the font pairing feature, we are able to pair this sans-serif font with this handwriting to create a nice contrast.
I love that. Stop in and say hello is so cute. I like the images in this. It's like the chaos of what actually happens here daily.
And I love the mix of the fonts.
So which website do you want to choose?
Number 3. The big images really make you feel like you're in the store shopping. It's a value proposition. improvement on what we have currently. 3?

It's 3.
Yeah, it's 3. You got it. It's 3. Visitā here we go. Visit us online at dobbinstreetco-op.com or swing by one of our 2 locations. We'll see you soon. If you see it and you like it, just buy it. You snooze, you lose, basically.
