This is a YouTube video titled "We went to Bushwick and gave The Lurkshop's website a tune-up 🔧" (uploaded/recorded 2025-09-25). The excerpt captures an informal website-design consultation between the Lurkshop owner (SPEAKER A), a designer/presenter (SPEAKER C), and another participant (SPEAKER B). They discuss the shop's origin in Crown Heights, branding and naming ("Renewal"), visual choices like fonts, color and photography, site layout and buttons for parking/maintenance, and the owner's preference for a design that highlights the shop rather than the individual. The owner mentions shop anecdotes, customer relationships, and the URL thelurkshop.com, ending with an open invitation to visit.

That font with that color, I'd paint a bike like that.
It's Renewal, where we renew websites and call it Renewal.
We started in a lockup garage in Crown Heights. We just called it the workshop. We had no name. People tried to rob us. Not all the time, but like a handful's enough. We would always say like, I'll meet you at the workshop. And one time Scott said, more like the lurk shop. We fix motorcycles and then store them and a bunch of other things. We don't have a motto per se, but that Japanese phrase called kuyishi, and I've probably butchered how you pronounce that, but sue me. It's kind of like hate is fuel. Like, oh, I can't do it? Oh, okay. So that was always us. I see the worst of bikes, like a doctor's gonna see the worst of health problems, obviously just a little less dramatic, but bikes. Most of my customers become my friends. There are momos, but everyone's really cool. My buddy Josh helped me build the website. I'm pretty okay at changing tires and oil. I'm pretty bad at a computer. Like, if people are DMing me, isn't that awesome that my compressor just went out? The photos in my website are from my first shop. That's 4 shops ago. What I want on a website Easy for customers to hit me up and see what we do. That's the main thing.
It's renewal when we renew websites. I know the last time we chatted, you were looking for some websites that really showed your work as a mechanic. Let me take you through the first one.
Holy shit.
For this direction, we really wanted to put your personality front and center. We have some big, bold type, this nice blue that's—
Usually, like, being right in your face, I'm like, fuck you, you know? That font with that color, I'd paint a bike like that.
For this one, we really wanted to, like, highlight the vibe of the Lurk Shop. So, kind of have this like full-lead photography.
Yeah, yeah. This looks like you've just walked in. That's the thing I like about this one. The shop's the focus.
This third one, all the information is there when you land on the page.
And I love that the parking's that button, the maintenance is that button. It's like in your face. Oh my God. It's like, wham, Ross. Oh, I'm looking at myself.
Okay, so which website are you liking best?
The second one.
Really?
I really like the second one. This is the shop. Like, forget me. We all die. You know what I'm saying? Like the shop, I want it to keep going. So I think it's hysterical. www.thelurkshop.com. Come around, see if we can help you. If we can't, have a beer. We can do that. Let me know when you get home. That's what I say to everyone.
