This YouTube video (uploaded by encouraging-retrograde) contains a short speech by Hima from a meet-and-greet event (Oct 29, 2024). In this excerpt Hima urges attendees to donate and support a statewide election campaign, stresses that the offices are volunteer (unpaid) positions, and asks people to help by donating, making calls, or spreading the word.

Please donate. You know that none of this is cheap. You know, running a statewide election is very, very expensive. So if you want him to spend everything that he's earned in the last 20 years on his race, it's not fair because he's going to serve us. And these are not paid positions that they're running for. I want you all to remember, these are not paid positions. These are volunteer positions. So please donate. Do whatever you can do or not make calls. Spread the word. Whatever you can do. Every little thing comes. Thank you.
