Good morning.
I am headed to the quilty women's Build today with Habitat for Humanity and I am so excited to see all of my out of town co workers. It's going to be such an amazing day.
Frank and I, we flew down from New York yesterday morning.
We're headed to the Women's Build from Georgia and we're ready to make an impact.
We're headed to the Women's Build from.
Birmingham, Alabama and we're excited to connect.
With all of our people.
Well, thank you guys so much for being out here.
We are extraordinarily grateful we're out here on this beautiful day to do a woman's build with Habitat for humanity. We've got 32 women from Quility Corporate. So today's really special. We're kind of blending two of our platforms, Connect and Impact. Connect are our women in leadership platform and then impact, our community outreach and great partnership with Habitat for Humanity because they offer these women's builds. These are great opportunities for folks to come to town and volunteer, see headquarters and be together. We've got about 10 women from out of town that have come in for this project.
We drove from Kennesaw, Georgia, which is right outside of Atlanta, and it was about a three and a half hour drive.
I traveled from San, West Virginia. This was an incredible opportunity to not only come and like, you know, help Habitat for Humanity, but also get to meet my team, get to meet my co workers. Like I've been on video calls with them, you know, for nearly a year and now I get to actually meet them. And it's been an awesome opportunity.
I feel like I've gotten to know people a lot better that I usually just kind of say hey to on meetings. So that's been really cool.
So I started with quility last March, March 2021. And I have never met anybody that I work with every single day. We haven't met in person at all. So I wanted to meet everybody and see Asheville and meet everyone while like doing something fun too.
We're installing windows, caulking the floor, dusting, you know, things like that.
My team built a wall.
They did.
Raised a wall. Now we're taking off the sides of the, I guess, railings.
They are the ultimate builders.
We put in some windows. Three there and then three there. Two in the back. Maybe 10 is right. Then this big window behind us, that bigger one. That was challenging. I thought I was being crushed with that one.
Building a home for somebody is a very concrete, specific thing where you're leaving a legacy for someone and you're able to see it for years and years and years to come.
Seeing the completed houses and knowing that we were like a small piece of that puzzle is pretty cool.
But I was thinking like, yeah, people are going to be using these window every day. And it's like I did that. It was cool actually being in person and building something together.
I feel like it's kind of like leaving a legacy, right? Like you start something, you build the foundation and you leave it and it's there forever. That's kind of the motto of what we do at quility and the impact that we do try to create is one that's everlasting and forever. And I mean, that's the impact that these girls have made in my heart. And so it's so exciting to be back from Alabama and Asheville and having that impact not only on the community but also on each other.
It.
