A short YouTube monologue by Nate Auffort (uploaded 2023-05-11) in which the speaker mentors listeners about mindset. The speaker warns against entering mentorship with preconceived ideas about what success requires (e.g., assuming you know how to make a million dollars a week) and advises openness to learning and avoiding blocked perspectives.

If I never made a million dollars a week, how in the world can I know what it's going to take to make a million dollars a week? And the biggest mistake a lot of people when I mentor is they come in with preconceived ideas of what they want to learn from you or what they need to know in order to have the success they need to have. And so they block out the things that are really the things that you need to have.
