This is a short transcript excerpt from the "SWAT APRIL 2021 EVENT: Recap Video" (YouTube, Nate Auffort, 2021-04-29). Multiple trainers speak in short segments offering motivational and sales-training advice: accept pain as part of growth, use questions to surface clients' emotions and preferences (e.g., presenting pricing options like a "Cadillac" plan), frame offers around family benefits rather than products, take personal responsibility for results, and actively help prospects make decisions.

My goal this weekend with our incredible trainers are going to be here is not to help you avoid the pain because that's where the growth takes place, but be able to take what we've learned and cram it into your head so it doesn't have to take you as freaking long to get success.
So I'm not telling them. I'm asking them questions to kind of get to invict the emotion, invict the answer. I wanted them. So, guys, we looked at some different options today. Did you like the Cadillac plan? The middle of the road plan with just the bare basics? Which one's gonna fit you guys better? Hey, did you like the price on this one? No, I don't. Listen, by the way, most people don't like to buy things. So stop trying to sell them something. But most people care about their family. Sell them that.
I'm telling you, the moment everything will start to change for you is the moment you start to accept responsibility. You don't hit your target. Your fault. You don't make a sell. Your fault. The leads suck. Your fault. You don't get referrals. Your fault. Appointment goes horribly your fault. I don't get what I want in life. My fault. And if I don't succeed, I'm blaming me and nobody else.
Every day I think about the relationship we have and the good work we're doing in the world and the big things we're doing to help people. You have got to make up your mind. It is to their benefit to take an action with you. And your job is to help them make that decision. They will thank you later.
