So the immersion process is where people hear me talk about all the time. But, like, I'm married to a beautiful Mexican woman. Her English is her second language. I took Spanish for four years in high school. I carried her the whole conversation with her. I understand words like ciula, parta or pagaluz. You know, shut the door, turn off the light, open the window, you know, callete. We shut up. You know, scoochie may, listen to me. I get. I can get it, but I don't understand. I can't have a full conversation, right? Buddy of mine goes to Mexico for six months, comes back bilingual. Four years, six months. Why? Because he was immersed. And you, once you learn this language, it never goes away.
