Light stimulates the brain while darkness promotes sleep. Just like you and I sleep better in a dark room. So do they. Now, does this mean that they can never nap in a light room? Of course not. They sometimes fall asleep out in the living room. They'll fall asleep while you're baby wearing. While you're out and about. That that's okay. You just don't have to force a bright room.
