Okay, today, as we're talking about separation anxiety, I want to tell you one of my favorite stories about my youngest, Charlie. Now, when my kids started going through separation anxiety, about eight, nine months, I started really trying to keep our goodbyes very short, very quick, to the point I give them a hug and kiss, get down on their level, and say, okay, I love you. Mommy has to go. Remember, Mommy always comes back. And so I would do that when they were young. One day, Charlie and I were in Target, and He was about 3, and he was walking ahead of me and had turned the corner on the aisle, and I could see him, but he couldn't see me. And I saw him start to look around, and then I could see, like, he was starting to panic. And so I'm, like, walking towards him, and he starts losing it and crying. And I get on his level. I'm like, charlie, Charlie, I'm right here. I'm right here, Charlie. I'm never gonna leave you. And he looks at me and he says, mommy, you always come back, right? And I said, yes, Charlie, Mommy always comes back. You guys, it was in that moment that I realized the truth that we speak to our babies, they're taking it in. They might not be able to verbalize it back at 8 months or 15 months, but they're listening and they're taking it in. And so the best thing I can tell you is speak truth to your babies. Speak truth to them. You may not hear it right now, but at 3, they're going to say it back to you. And when they do, it's so beautiful. So speak truth to your babies. Mommy always comes back. Start today. Speak truth to them. They're taking it in.
