In this short presentation, the speaker showcases a large black walnut tree at TN Nursery that is host to several colorful caterpillars. Using the visual of the caterpillars, the speaker argues that planting native trees and plants is beneficial because they attract pollinators, provide food and habitat for birds, are low‑maintenance, hardy, and resistant to disease and pests. The speaker repeatedly invites viewers to identify the caterpillar species in the comments and encourages them to shop at tnursery.net, positioning the nursery as a source for native plants.

There's 2 or 3 more caterpillars on this tree if I can find them. I'm having a hard time finding those, but as you can see, this is a real good reason to plant native trees and plants. They attract all kinds of pollinators, and I would love for someone in the comments to let us know what kind of caterpillar this is. It's beautiful. It's got blue on the sides, a bright yellow, and on the end, on the end of the caterpillar, it's got these little ladybug-looking bumps on it. But this is a real good reason to plant native plants. Here's the other one. There's a couple more on here, I just can't see them, they blend in with the trees so well. But this is just a real good example of why you should plant native plants. This is a huge black walnut tree, it's got walnuts all over it, and we always plant native in our own yards. Native plants are low maintenance. They attract all type pollinators. Birds build their nests in them. They're just absolutely the most hardy and disease pest resistant trees you can get. Native trees. Shop tnursery.net.
