In this short YouTube segment, Bailey from TN Nursery walks viewers through a modest fern garden featuring Christmas ferns (Polystichum acrostichoides). Bailey emphasizes that Christmas ferns are the only evergreen fern the nursery sells, staying green throughout winter and providing year‑round foliage. He counts roughly seven individual plants, showing new growth emerging as older fronds die back. The fern’s key attributes are highlighted: shade‑loving, hardy, native to the region, and resistant to disease and pests. The tone is conversational and enthusiastic, aiming to promote the fern as a low‑maintenance, attractive addition to gardens.

Hey guys, it's Bailey with TN Nursery. I want to show y'all one of my little fern gardens. They— this is Christmas ferns. Now it's the only fern that we sell, and I'm pretty sure the only kind of fern that is an evergreen. These will look just like this in the dead of winter. They'll stay green all year round, and they are absolutely beautiful. Let me see if I can't zoom out and show y'all. Look how beautiful. And this is about probably 7 ferns. Let me see, may just be— there's 1, there's 2, there's a little one, 3, 4— yeah, about 7 ferns. And they're evergreen. See, they're losing their old foliage because she's putting out some new right here. But ain't they beautiful? Now they love shade and they're hardy. They're native, so they can survive anywhere. Disease resistant, pest resistant. All the good things because of them being a native. That's Christmas fern, an evergreen fern.
