This is Tammy Sons at Tia Nursery. I wanted to show you what the red crepe myrtle looks like in the dormant season. They have beautiful striking burgundy leaves. Before they bloom, they have dark green and burgundy tip leaves. They're really an ornamental shrub that has a long flowering period. At the end of summer. These are the red crepe myrtle, Dynamite Red, and I just wanted to show you pictures of how beautiful they are. These are one year. They'll be 3 to 4 feet in the fall when it gets time to ship again. But just look how beautiful the Dynamite Red crepe myrtle are. In the summertime. They're truly one of the rare ornamental shrubs. The crape myrtle has a really long blooming season in Zone 7 where we are. The crape myrtles, they bloom, uh, from about the end of June all the way to August. It's one of the last blooming shrubs that there is. It's a great plant to plant for end-of-season blooms. And look how beautiful the leaves are in the summer season. These will be 3 to 4 feet in height by the time fall comes. I just wanted to show you the quality. Of our crepe myrtle. That's the Dynamite Red. Here's some of the Natchez White. There's some Peppermint Pink in these 4 rows, but there's just something about the unique look of the red crepe myrtle. This is the Natchez White. They have a little color variation in the leaves. A lot of autumn foliage, but nothing like the red crepe myrtle. The red crepe myrtle's burgundy leaves makes it a show-stopping color even before it blooms. We have 2 really long rows of these at tnursery.net, and we have 11 rows of the white, pink, and Muskogee crepe myrtles. These will be ready at the end of October, early November to ship. If you want to go ahead and place your orders and make sure that you're able to get them, sometimes the red and white sells out before the season even starts. We do take pre-orders at tnursery.net.
