In this short nursery demonstration, Bailey from TN Nursery grades and bundles white pine seedlings while sharing a range of facts about the species. The speaker highlights the tree’s impressive longevity (over 450 years), stature (tallest in eastern North America, up to 150 ft), and physical traits such as 8‑inch cones, evergreen needles that persist 2–3 years, winged seeds, and fire resistance. Historical uses are noted, including Native American consumption of inner bark for food and medicine and early colonists using the wood for shipbuilding. Ecologically, mature white pines create shaded microclimates that support birds, squirrels, deer, and other small animals, though old‑growth stands are now rare and protected. The video lists seedling sizes (1‑2 ft, 2‑3 ft, 3‑4 ft) and promotes a buy‑one‑get‑one‑free offer with low prices, directing viewers to shop at tnursery.net. The segment ends with a sign‑off by Tammy Sons.

Hey everybody, it's Bailey with TN Nursery, and today we're grading and bundling up our white pines. These are beautiful white pine seedlings. White pine is cool because it can live over 450 years old. It's the tallest tree in eastern North America. The cones can be up to 8 inches long and produces thousands of seeds in each cone. Native Americans use the inner bark as food and medicine. Early colonists prized them because they used them in making their ships. When they grow up, they create shaded microclimates that's good for small animals that we don't usually see. They provide shelter for birds and squirrels and deers. They've been known to grow well over 150 feet tall. The needles stay on the tree 2 to 3 years, then they produce new ones, but they stay green all year round. Old-growth white pine forests are now rare and protected. The seeds are winged. They're like a maple seed. They fly through the air. They photosynthesize year-round because the needles are evergreen. They are resistant to fire. We have these beautiful trees. We have them in 2 to 3 foot, 1 to 2 foot, uh, 3 to 4 foot, and a lot of seedlings available. And the trees are buy one, get one free, and the seedlings are very cheap. Shop now at tnursery.net. Tammy Sons.
