Hey everyone, it's Bailey with TN Nursery, and today I'm showing you water lily roots. Now this is what our roots usually look like. Sometimes they're round, but these are lily pads, and a lot of people ask, how do I plant them? Well, I'm going to show you. They live submerged in water. I usually get a pot and fill it full of rocks, and I put my roots in here like this, and then I take more rocks and I put them on top of it so they won't float away. And then I set this in my pond just like this. Water lily is a beneficial plant. You can't go wrong with putting it in your pond. It cleans the— it cleans the water and it provides shade for the fish. And that's how I do it. Now you can wade out in the water and put it in the mud, but it's a lot easier just to do it like this and set it in your pond.
