In this short video, Bailey from TN Nursery showcases monarch caterpillars feeding on milkweed planted outdoors in Tennessee. He explains that moving milkweed cultivation from a greenhouse to the open garden has dramatically increased local monarch presence, highlighting the species' endangered status and the risk of extinction within a decade if habitats aren't restored. Bailey emphasizes that planting native milkweed species—specifically swamp milkweed and butterfly weed—helps save monarchs, and he promotes a buy‑one‑get‑one‑free offer for these plants, directing viewers to shop at tnursery.net.

Hey everyone, it's Bailey with TN Nursery, and I wanted to show you what's coming on our milkweed. These are little monarch caterpillars, and it is late April here in Tennessee, and we're already seeing a lot, a lot of monarchs. There used to not be any around here. We used to grow our milkweed in the greenhouse, and monarchs couldn't get to them. So we started growing it outside, and now we've seen an absolute fluctuation of monarchs coming back to our place. And there's monarchs everywhere. And you can see, if you plant native milkweed, this is what happens. You restore the environment by saving these endangered species. These are expected to go extinct within 10 years from now, but they won't if we all take care of them by planting native milkweeds. We have swamp milkweed and we have butterfly weed, and we got them for buy one get one free. Shop now at tnursery.net.
