In this short video, Bailey from TN Nursery showcases a bare‑root Carolina allspice (also known as strawberry bush) that was found in a barn. Bailey highlights that the shrub is already producing small, distinctive blooms that temporarily trap beetles for pollination—a process described as ancient, dating back to the dinosaur and Ice Age eras. The plant is noted as one of the oldest living shrubs on Earth and emits a pleasant, strawberry‑like scent. The segment concludes with a promotional call‑to‑action, offering a buy‑one‑get‑one‑free deal on the shrub and directing viewers to shop at tnursery.net.

Hey everyone, it's Bailey with TN Nursery, and I want to show you this Carolina allspice that I seen in the barn today and just had to get it and take it out here and show y'all. This is a bare root Carolina allspice. This is what we sell, and it's already putting out little blooms. Now look at them blooms. Now them blooms will open up and they'll get a pollinator, usually a beetle, inside, and they'll close up on that beetle and it'll pollinate. And about 30 minutes later, it'll open up and let the pollinator out. That's an ancient process that was used by plants in the dinosaur era and the Ice Age era. This is one of the oldest living shrubs on the planet, and it has one of the most unique blooms on the planet as well for a shrub. It puts off a wonderful scent. It kind of puts you in the mind of a strawberry. A lot of people call this a strawberry bush. We have these for buy one, get one free, and this is an example of one I found in the barn. This is exactly what we sell. Shop now at tnursery.net.
