In this TN Nursery YouTube video, the presenter introduces pincushion moss, a common white moss species native to North America. The monologue describes its natural habitats (moist woods, swampy areas), physical characteristics (tufted growth, size 50 cm–1 m, leaf length 5–9 mm, gray‑green color, cushion shape), and growth behavior (tolerates dry climate but prefers moisture, absorbs water, optimal growth in fall and spring). It explains propagation by fragmenting the moss into small pieces and notes its preference for acidic, moist conditions. The video concludes with a sales pitch, stating that the moss is available for purchase from Tennessee Wholesale Nursery at low prices with fast shipping.
