TN Nursery has grown native plants since 1959, watching pollinators thrive in their gardens long before conservation became trendy. Native perennials and coneflowers attract bees, butterflies, moths, and hummingbirds while supporting food systems and habitat restoration across the country.

When people ask me what TN Nursery is about, the answer isn't really plants. It's about stewardship. My family has been growing native plants, trees, and ferns, and wildflowers here in Tennessee since 1959. Long before pollinators became a popular topic, we were watching bees work in the field, butterflies drifting through our wildflowers, and hummingbirds visiting blooms every summer. What you're seeing here today is exactly why we do what we do. These garden beds are filled with native perennials and coneflowers and other pollinator favorites. And the second they bloom, nature shows up. The bees and butterflies and moths and hummingbirds and countless beneficial insects all find food here at our place. My grandfather Roscoe started this business and now it's going on for 3 generations. Here at TN Nursery, it's not just about creating something beautiful. It's about leaving the land better than you found it. Every flower blooming here is a part of something bigger. It's helping support wildlife. It's helping pollinators that our food system depends on. It's creating habitat where there once might have been none. That's what makes native plants so special. They belong here. They support the ecosystems around them. Here at TN Nursery, we're helping restore small pieces of nature all over the United States. As I stand here watching all this life moving from all these blooms, I'm reminded that a garden is more than flowers. It's a living, breathing community. After more than 6 decades, that's still what inspires us here every day at TN Nursery.
