The moss is native to New Zealand, North America, and Australia and performs well in the Northern Hemisphere during winter and spring. Its leaves are narrow, glossy, and range from vivid emerald to dark green, often falcate. Growth requirements include adequate humidity, no specific soil preference, and moisture‑rich air; stems can reach 30–70 cm, with shorter forms 5–10 cm, typically maturing in 1–2 years. The video concludes by noting that Rockcap Moss is available for purchase from Tennessee Wholesale Nursery at low prices with fast shipping.

Welcome to TN Nursery YouTube channel. Today, let's talk about Rockcap Moss. Rockcap Moss, a sporophyte plant named Ploitrichum commune, seems to flourish nearly every year, ideally growing at the top of rocks, boulders, logs, stumps, and woods above rivers and valleys around the lakeshores, capping the areas with greenish fur. It is non-flowering plants found in New Zealand, North America, and Australia. Covering the Northern Hemisphere blooms extraordinary well in winter and spring, making a unique addition to any garden or yard. This densely tufted cushion moss has long, narrow characteristic leaves with a touch of gloss, usually vivid emerald tones or dark green with a flat appearance. The leaves are rarely straight, mostly falcate in the bunch that propagates in the shoot's direction. The dark green coloring substitutes the grass in the grass-lacking regions, promoting the lush green look. It needs a suitable moisture content in air to grow. Prominently humidity facilitates the growth, having no soil preference, while bared soil is good to use. Such tall moss species have stems that exceed 30cm to 70cm, while the shorter length ranges from 5cm to 10cm, quite often in the duration of 1 to 2 years. Rockcap Moss is for sale at Tennessee Wholesale Nursery with low prices and fast shipping. Thanks for Chain.
