In this promotional video, Tammy Sons showcases the rose mallow (swamp hibiscus) operation at Tia Nursery. She states that the nursery maintains roughly 10,000 rose mallow plants in a single block, but because they sell a few thousand each week, the inventory turns over quickly. The plants are sourced from mixed‑color seed lots, and while seed suppliers claim specific bloom colors, the actual plants can vary—white seeds may produce blue flowers, red seeds may produce white blooms—so the nursery markets them as mixed‑color plants and does not guarantee a particular hue. Tammy emphasizes that rose mallows are a popular, long‑lived biennial shrub that returns each spring and can live for decades, featuring very large “dinner‑plate” sized blooms. She highlights the high demand among homeowners, the weekly sales volume of a few thousand plants, and the guarantee of premium quality despite color variability. The video ends with a call‑to‑action directing viewers to the nursery’s website, TiaNursery.net.

I wanted to show you our rose mallow plants at Tia Nursery. We've got probably 10,000 in this block. They're mixed colors. Every seed source that we get tells us that we're getting a specific color, but we ship them to our customers. Sometimes the white ones are blue. The red ones are white, so we only sell those to be true to what we grow, which are mixed colors. The rose mallows are real popular shrub. It's a biennial. It returns every spring. They live for decades. This seems like we have a lot of them, but we really don't because we sell a couple thousand of these a week. They are also called swamp hibiscus, and they have huge dinner plate size blooms on them. We can't guarantee what color you get, but we can guarantee you premium quality. The Rose Mallow is really popular for homeowners, and you can see why. TiaNursery.net.
