Hey everyone, it's Bailey with TN Nursery, and today I'm showing you our little Southern Red Oak seedlings. Now these don't look like much now, but in a couple of months they'll be little trees. They can grow up to 80 feet tall, and they're a wonderful shade tree, and they live to be thousands of years old. They thrive in dry and sandy soils. The leaves turn a beautiful scarlet color in the fall. They grow really fast compared to other oaks, and their wood has a reddish hue. They're often planted in parks, somewhere with a large landscape, because they become really big trees. Wildlife like deer and squirrels love its acorns. The bark is a dark gray color, and it has deep ridges in it. You can't go wrong with planting these in— they do good in any landscape. Shop now at TNNursery.net. We have these beautiful trees for buy one, get one free, and we have seedling packages. We have these available now for pre-order for the fall, and a lot of our stuff gets pre-ordered really early, so if you want some, you better get on it.
