Welcome to TN Nursery YouTube channel. Today, let's talk about Terra Zakum Dandelion. Terra Zakum Dandelion is the common name for Taraxacum officinale. The name originates from the French term "dent de lion," referring to the tooth-like looks of the plant leaves. It is a perennial and herbaceous plant with an unbranched taproot. Flowers appear on the plant in spring, but you may also notice some in the fall. The flowers of this plant bloom open in the sun and close at night. The sepals of this family are modified, and no sepals are present on the flowers while the fruit is the acane. The leaves are deeply toothed and basal. They do not grow on the plant stem, but from the plant crown. They are 5 to 25 centimeters long, and form a rosette over the taproot. This plant's flowers are bright yellow, growing on tall stalks up to 70 centimeters in height. The plant grows asexually from seeds. But, it also can develop seeds without cross-fertilization. The resulting plants produced are clones of the parent plants produced without fertilization. If you wish to have multiple these plants in your garden, all you need to do is plant one only. It will increase on its own. The plants grow for up to 10 years, reaching a significant size of 50 cm in width. The flowers make wine while the leaves are added to salads. Terra Zakum dandelion is for sale at TN Nursery with low prices and fast shipping. Thanks for watching.
