In this short demonstration, Bailey from TN Nursery showcases jewelweed (also known as touch‑me‑not), highlighting its appeal to pollinators and its easy propagation. Bailey points out the elongated flower shape that lets hummingbirds insert their beaks to sip nectar, noting that hummingbirds often compete for the blooms in the evening. He also draws attention to the abundance of butterflies and bees that visit the flowers. The segment then shifts to the plant’s self‑seeding habit: Bailey opens a seed pod, reveals the tiny seeds inside, and explains that these seeds naturally disperse and germinate the following spring, making jewelweed a low‑maintenance, pollinator‑friendly addition to gardens.

It's Bailey with TN Nursery. I'm showing y'all jewelweed today. These are a favorite of the hummingbirds. See where they're, where they're longer like this? The hummingbird can stick their little beak in it and drink the nectar out of it. And in the evening time, you'll see hummingbirds fight over these. They call them a common touch-me-not. Is the secondary name for them. But if you'll look really hard, you can see butterflies and bees all over them. Look, they're self-seeding. Look at this little seed pod. Let me see if I can't break it open and show y'all. See all the little seeds? And them seeds will come up in spring. See, see that little pollinator?
