In this video, Bailey from TN Nursery walks viewers through a large government/state live‑stake order that is being loaded for shipment to a reforestation project. He shows the three species being supplied—elderberry, dogwood, and red willow—explaining that live stakes are rooted cuttings that volunteers can plant without heavy equipment. Once planted, they develop deep roots, become shrubs, and provide multiple environmental benefits: they reduce soil erosion, filter pollutants, improve water quality, and, when placed near waterways, shade and cool water for fish. Elderberry stakes also attract birds, offering habitat value. Bailey mentions the logistics of loading the stakes, the location of the front‑of‑warehouse loading area, and promotes TN Nursery’s online store (tnursery.net) with a limited‑time buy‑one‑get‑one‑free sale.

Hey everyone, it's Bailey with TN Nursery, and our really large live stake order is going out today. This is a government or state job one, and we're loading them up, and, uh, there's a big semi gonna come and pick them up to take them to where they're gonna be planted. And these you see here, they're getting out, is elderberry, and I'll take you outside to look at them in just a minute. And them red looking ones down here, right there, is, uh, dogwoods. And let's see, look, here they are loaded up. Now live stakes are cuttings, and when this big reforestation group gets them, they'll take a little tool and put the end down in the dirt, and in springtime they'll have big roots on them and they'll turn into shrubs. They're one of the only reforestation tools that you don't have to use heavy equipment for. Just big volunteers and big teams come in and they split a little hole in the ground and they stick these stakes right down in them. They're one of the best tools to keep soil erosion down, and they filter tons of pollutants. They improve, uh, water health. You can plant them near waterways and they purify the water. And when they start to grow near the waterways, they provide shade for the fish and cooling the water. Now these elderberry live stakes you see here will be really beneficial to the birds. Birds love elderberry. If you ever want to attract birds to your garden, They are the way to go. And here we are, we're taking them to the front of the warehouse. That way it'll be easier for us to load them. Look, there's red willows, I think is what them are. Dogwoods. One shop now at tnursery.net. We have a big buy one get one free sale going on and it won't last long.
