In this informal unboxing video, the host (Speaker A) and Bailey from TN Nursery showcase a large bare‑root order that Evan placed with TN Nursery. The segment opens with a humorous anecdote about Evan’s previous purchase of blue sunflower seeds, then moves to a detailed walk‑through of the trees and vines received. The inventory includes Freedom grapevines (BOGO sale), pawpaw trees, Fuyu persimmons, Moonglow pears, ginkgo trees (with a note on gender‑specific fruit), elderberries, hardy almonds, and other species. Throughout, Speaker A explains why bare‑root trees are superior to potted plants, citing a 200‑300 % higher root growth rate and better transplant success, despite their rough appearance. The tone is conversational, enthusiastic, and slightly irreverent, aimed at gardeners and small‑scale farmers who might consider ordering from TN Nursery. The video emphasizes that the order is not sponsored, highlights the BOGO promotion, and encourages viewers to try bare‑root planting.

Episode of: What did the 6-foot-4 man that lives in my house order? It's a long title, but it's the life I'm living and you're having to live it with me. Um, yeah.
Uh.
You're gonna have to give her a little grace, I know she's a little bald-headed right now. I know it doesn't look like much, but honestly this is a win for Evan. There was this one time that he ordered blue sunflower seeds. Like, they were supposed to be blue and I told him that that's are not real. And they weren't. He got scammed real good. What isn't a scam is this stick. And this stick isn't a stick, it's a tree, specifically a bare root tree. And these came from Tennessee Nurseries, TN Nurseries, here on TikTok. I'll tag them below. No, it's not sponsored, uh, but we got some really exciting stuff. Again, not sponsored. I'm just a farmer that believes the best time to plant a tree was yesterday. I'm also a big fan of Bailey, who runs their socials.
Hey everyone, it's Bailey with TN Nursery, and I'm in the code house today, and I don't even know where to start. Hey everyone, it's This is Bailey with TN Nursery, and they're digging the red oak today and the red mulberry.
How could you listen to that voice and not want to order a tree? Yeah, I just really wanted to put y'all on the way to get some really cool trees. So let me show you all the different kinds of trees that Evan got, and I'll tell you why bare-rooted trees are kind of awesome. First up, not a tree, but we got some grapevines, and they're having like a BOGO sale right now, so every time you buy one, you get another. So Evan kind of went hog wild. This isn't even all the order. They had to do like a whole nother order because they all couldn't fit in this box. But more specifically, we got 2 Freedom grapes. Now if I remember, these trees right here are the whole reason that Evan ordered. These are pawpaw trees, and he's been obsessed with pawpaws. Has he ever had a pawpaw? No. However, they are the largest fruit native to the Americas, so this is pretty cool. So Evan only ordered 1, which meant they sent 2 because of the BOGO deal, but there's 3 of them here. That is awesome! And these are huge! He is gonna flip the fuck out. Oh my God, they sent 3 persimmon trees too! There's 3 Fuyu persimmons. The big persimmons. So the benefits of getting a stick instead of an already in a pot thing is because when you have something in a pot, it's used to living in a pot, so it doesn't transplant really well. Typically, on average, bare root trees grow 200 to 300% more roots than just potted plants. They have a higher success rate even though they be looking a little bit rough. Two Moonglow pears. They sent three ginkgo trees, and fun fact, ginkgos can be female or male. Uh, the females will actually produce a really stinky fruit. And they sent three elderberries.
They were just throwing trees in.
I know, again, they don't look like much, but this is so exciting. And can we take a second to appreciate these roots of these pawpaws? That is insane. Oh my God. Now to be honest, I told Evan, I was like, you're getting scammed, because all these trees for the price was wild. Because he has some hardy almonds coming and a few other things, and then when I saw these, I got really excited.
