Hey everyone, it's Bailey with TN Nursery, and I'm showing you a plant today that doesn't get the attention it deserves. This is dandelion, and dandelion is a powerhouse herb. It, uh, is high in calcium and vitamin K and vitamin C and vitamin D. Every single piece of this plant is edible. You can take the roots and you can char them over a fire and Boil the charred root and make coffee. It tastes just like coffee. And they're very easy to grow, and they're getting to where you don't find as many as we used to. I'm not for sure why. I don't know if it's climate change or what. But I like to take the dandelion flower heads and deep fry them, batter them up and deep fry them, and they taste like fried okra. I don't know what we would do if it wasn't for these because these feed the bees and the pollinators when nothing else will. If you look on this one, you can see a little pollinator. See that little bee? Pity spade. These are very important. We got them buy one get one free at tnursery.net.
