In this testimonial, Dr. Brianna Rue, an optometrist who also works with a tech company, describes her experience partnering with Achieve CMO and its fractional CMO team, particularly Jeff Lu and CEO Jesse. She praises how the team translates her ideas into concrete marketing assets—newsletters, HubSpot campaigns, and trade‑show materials—often delivering them within hours. Rue highlights the value of the fractional model, noting that sharing a marketer across clients brings cross‑industry insights, cost efficiency, and continuous learning. She stresses that entrepreneurs must invest in marketing to generate leads, delegate non‑core tasks, and trust the expertise of their outsourced team. Clear expectations and strong relationships, she says, are the foundation for getting back the results they seek.

So I am Dr. Brianna Rue. I'm an optometrist on the side with a tech company, which is what has now scaled into working with Achieve CMO and Jesse and his team. So I'm going to give a huge shout out to Jeff Lu, who is our person behind a lot of the scenes here. And what it's helped us do with any marketing, right? Because that's what grows your business is you got to have leads and leads come from marketing and you have to say the same thing 80 times in order for somebody to hear it 8. So I appreciate what Achieve has done to take what's up here in my head and create it into something that can be relatable. And also then methodically get it out there. So between newsletters and HubSpot and getting ready for shows, and I remember constantly I'm like, Jeff, we forgot to do this thing, like I need it in 2 hours. And he can— he just knows us as a customer on what's up here because we've worked now together so long that it, you know, spits out this beautiful thing and it's off to the printer and we pick it up and we're on the plane to the next show. So I appreciate the, the relationship that we've now been able to build because Jeff is really part of our team. To the Achieve team overall, I think you guys— I like the word fractional and don't like the word fractional because I know he's obviously has other customers and it's been good because we've also been paired with another person in our space. And so we're constantly learning from each other. Obviously we got permission to do that, um, because it all— it doesn't always have to be on you. And I think what's cool is you guys are seeing other industries, you're seeing what's working in those other industries, and so that doesn't keep you siloed to just yours. And I think that's the value of what a fractional person can bring. So not only just in expense-wise but also what you get. Any— like, as an entrepreneur, you have to make these investments, whether you're a private practice owner or an entrepreneur or a tech startup or whatever it may be. Marketing is really important, and a lot of us hate to do it. Uh, some of us love to do it, right? And so it's finding people that you can add to your team that are in their zone of genius that allows you to stay in yours. So if you as an entrepreneur are doing so many things, one of the first things to get off your plate is this. One of the last things to get off your plate is sales. So you can't be bogged down by all of this stuff that you have to overdo over here if you can't bring in the money. So some of those investments, although they're hard in the beginning, you gotta make them. That's what's going to move you ahead. You can't be scared to invest. I think you make sure that you're paired with someone good, which I know you, Jesse, as the CEO, do. And I can see that you inspect what you expect from your people. Um, and then now you have that trust for them to then work with clients. And that's exactly what you are. So what you put in that relationship, you're going to get back out. And the expectations are very clear in the beginning on everybody, and that's what I love.
