Any piece of advice for people just even going to conferences in general? I understand people can be shy, but even if it's a big effort for you, just say hi to somebody. And going to lunch is the easiest thing. I know it can be difficult for people, but do that up. If you go catch a talk, hopefully it's a good talk. Let the speaker know, they'll really appreciate it. And also gives you a touchpoint to go speak to the person if it's somebody you wanted to meet as well. Aside from that, I have only seen good things happen in my career since doing things in public. And doing things in public can mean many things. Doesn't mean you have to livestream. It could be you're just blogging or you're posting like you're saying, but do something to stand out right now. Doesn't matter if you don't have a big following. It doesn't matter if somebody's written about something before. Just do it.
