AI won't fix hiring by automating what already exists. The real opportunity is rewriting the rules entirely, creating capabilities that didn't exist before, while keeping people in the picture. An outsider's perspective on what recruiting could actually become.

I think there's a huge breakthrough that could happen with the talent industry around AI to help hiring. When I think about AI from a product perspective, I'm looking for, I'm looking to change the rules completely, right? I'm not coming in and going, hey, let's automate this process and get rid of people's jobs. I'm looking to go, where can I deploy this in a way that is ethical and responsible and just does an amazing job at doing something that nobody thought was before? Because hey, I'm an outsider. I'm not from the recruiting industry. This is new to me.
