If you only look at direct hire candidates, you're only looking at a set amount of candidates. I will tell you this, I'm not bullshitting with you. I've talked to more candidates lately that actually wanna do contract and contract to hire because they have been so burned by companies who overhired during COVID But at the end of the day, I think contract to hire is the best way to hire. You are never going to fully evaluate somebody in a 3-step interview process. Let's be honest, you just don't. But in 6 months, you get a pretty good view of it.
