Taylor Desseyn started recording developer content on a cell phone with $150 a month and grew it into a project with a team and budget to manage. What began as conversations at small conferences became content for the wider developer community.

What I've realized is these small intimate conversations I'm having at conferences actually would benefit the developer community at scale. And so I was like, I need to capture these small moments. Sure, I can give a talk, but I think talking to somebody about a specific topic on a one-on-one, I think it's going to resonate more with people in some cases. So literally I started just with like my cell phone, and then I literally, my budget started out years ago at $150 a month. Yeah. And I basically had to justify revenue all the way through it. And then now I'm managing a budget and my own team. So yeah, it's a lot of fun.
