The excerpt is a spoken segment from a presenter offering networking and interview advice — emphasizing that people prefer to work with those they like, finding commonalities (example: connecting with Todd Lewis over both attending the University of South Carolina / cheering "Gamecocks"), and recommending researching people youre interviewing with. Only a single speaker label appears in the excerpt.

People want to work with people they like. Like, it's just the end of the day. Like, it's just— that's it. That's it. Find some sort of commonality, right? Like Todd Lewis, who puts on this event, right? Like, I messaged Todd. I was like, hey, go Gamecocks, right? We both— we both went to the University of South Carolina, right? Boom, hit it off immediately. Or research the people you're interviewing with.
