Sometimes job descriptions are just trash. Where are job seekers really missing the mark right now when it comes to job search? I don't think people fully read job descriptions, and I say that with a grain of salt because some job descriptions are just not that great or they're very vague. So it's not the fault of the applicant or the job seeker because sometimes job descriptions are just trash. That's the reality of it. But when the job description has requirements explicitly stated and you don't meet those requirements or you're not in the industry of what this role is, the desire to apply shouldn't be there. But here we are, We still get people that work in non-adjacent industries that don't meet any of the qualifications that are applying, which is great. Like, I love everyone shooting their shot, but it's unrealistic sometimes.
