Include a three-month job on your tech résumé only if you can point to a concrete achievement, even if things ended badly. If you shipped nothing and it was a disaster, leave it off. When you do list it, tell interviewers about the manager mismatch and what you actually built.

a 3-month stint that just went real south, right? We've all had it, right? We've all had those bad boyfriends, girlfriends, let's be honest. Um, and so basically the big thing is, is storytelling. I would include it if, if you did maybe some cool shit. Now if you got in there and like you didn't write one line of code and it was just an absolute disaster dumpster fire, maybe not include it. Mm-hmm. But like if you like did something kind of cool even though it was a shit environment and you got out, put it in. And during the interview, just be like, hey, listen, me and the manager didn't see eye to eye. Right? So many people are so worried if something didn't work out. You just need a good reason. 'Cause you know what happens is I ask people all the time, like, hey, what about this job? They're like, eh. So again, if it was 3 months and you did something cool, put it on your resume, talk about it. If it was like, literally I didn't do anything, it's fine to leave it off.
