What are some things that you felt like you could really bring to the table? I love being a person who can take my technical expertise and share it with anyone on the planet. When I worked at Ryan's Steakhouse, I could easily have the mayor and a janitor at neighboring tables, and I'd be able to greet and deal with both of them at their level in a way that they can respond to. So you have to do some quick mental switches about how to relate information. Works in tech, and it's a benefit to companies to be able to meet out audience segments and what voice needs to be used for audience segments, whether we're talking like this or in socials. I'm good at that crap. As a job acquisition, you want to be sharing items that show your impact in public. How do you move the needle? Whether it's something innovative that you learned, innovative that you built, someone you helped, that's a whole different level of building in public, and it helps to build that brand that this person is capable of moving my needle.
