Your network directly becomes job opportunities if you work it right. Meet someone, connect on LinkedIn, engage with their posts, then DM them about their work and ask for a call. Most people don't actually do this.

Your network is your net worth. It's this funnel, right? It's meeting the person to the left or right of you, connecting with them on LinkedIn, then following them on LinkedIn, liking and commenting their stuff, then maybe sliding into a DM after they say something really good that really resonates with you and say, hey, do you want to have a quick call? You posted this really— this piece on View, and, and it was really, really good. Can I talk with you for a few minutes about it? Sure, absolutely. So then you have a call with that person, right? And then that person posts that they have a job 6 months from now and you're like, you know, I'd really like to work with that person. You message that person in the DMs and then you get the interview. That's how that works. The problem is, is none of us are doing that.
