Cold applying to jobs has become mostly ineffective. While some people land roles this way, it's the exception, not the rule. A better strategy exists for people laid off and looking for work.
What's your advice for people who want to get a job and maybe don't know how because they just got laid off or something? Yeah. I mean, I would say right now, the act of cold applying, it just doesn't work. Now, we may have some listeners who are like, well, I found my job. I always get one. I always get one. I found my job cold applying. I'm like, great. Congratulations. Right? I'm not saying it's like you're never going to get it, but it's really hard. Right?
