Hiring managers scan your summary first, then jump to experience if it's weak. Label contract roles clearly so employers see your range. Answer their likely questions directly in your resume to avoid follow-ups.

When you open up a resume, where are you looking first? The quick summary is what I look at, but if it's full of filler words and it doesn't really tell me who you are, I'm gonna go right to your experience. I'm looking at titles, I'm looking at companies. If, if I know the company, great. If I don't, I'm looking it up, looking at tenure real quick. Contract roles are so popular now 'cause they want the diverse portfolio of work. So what I recommend though is if you're doing contract work, write contract. The best advice I tell people when creating a resume, answer questions before they have to be asked.
