Taylor Desseyn shares a quick tip about LinkedIn's similar connections feature. Check who you have in common before reaching out to someone, like he discovered at a speaker dinner.

Next thing, everybody know the similar connections feature on LinkedIn? Incredibly important. I went to dinner last night, I threw a speaker dinner last night for some speakers, and there was one individual at the dinner, I did not know her, but we had a ton of similar connections, and we hit it off immediately. It's such an underrated feature, so make sure you look at that before you message somebody.
