Taylor Desseyn says the top third of your resume is what gets you interview calls. Your professional summary and skills section need to tell a story with concrete data. Most people skip this and wonder why recruiters don't call.

Chapters

It's going to be the thing that's going to get you calls. The first page is the most important part of your resume. Even more so, the first third of it. Your professional summary needs to be nailed down, and then you need to really hit me in the teeth with really good skills. And so many of y'all leave the top third part of your resume to be desired. There's so much data that you're not including, that you're not telling a story. And so again, the top third of your resume on the first page is the most important part of your resume. It's going to be the thing that's going to get you calls.
